It seems that the colors are richer and lusher when applied onto the velvet. This one is wonderful with its rich hues of greens and soft purples. It is cut fairly lean through the bodice and sleeves, while the skirt flares out to a long, lean A line so that the fantastic design can be shown off to its full advantage.
